Senior Manager, Wealth Management Advisor

Job Purpose

• Suitability & Strategic Planning: The job holder is responsible for assessing the client's investment suitability, ensuring that all strategies—Preservation/ Optimization/ Growth—are anchored in a rigorous technical foundation. Covering High/Ultra High Net Worth base, and working closely with Relationship Managers, specialists and clients.

• Advanced Solution Engineering & Commercial Growth: The job holder is responsible for reviewing complex accounts and proposing holistic financial solutions. The incumbent is tasked with optimizing portfolio revenue and maximizing the bank’s share of wallet by orchestrating high-value investment and insurance strategies in collaboration with insurance and other specialists.

• Wealth Transition Stewardship: The job holder is responsible for identifying client needs regarding generational and estate planning & governance acting as the strategic liaison to internal and external specialists to ensure continuity of family core value & legacy.

• Technical Excellence & Fiduciary Integrity: The job holder is responsible for providing high-level technical oversight of financial plans, ensuring all proposals align with the client’s long-term interests while upholding the highest standards of compliance.

• Key Accountabilities (1)

• 1.  Financial Planning & Suitability Architecture

• Act as the lead technical authority for the Private Wealth Office (PWO) in defining client investment suitability and establishing strategic and tactical asset allocation.

• Conduct deep-dive financial discoveries to establish a comprehensive view of the client’s balance sheet, cash flow requirements, and long-term legacy goals.

• Develop and articulate financial plans that integrate asset allocation, core wealth preservation, tax/cost optimization, and meet wealth growth objectives. Execute the plans in coordination with the Chief Investment Office and other specialists.

• Perform systematic reviews of existing client accounts to ensure continued alignment with the established Risk Profile and Investment Policy Statement.

• Business Development: Drive and execute targeted portfolio reviews in tandem with Relationship Managers; proactively identify high-value opportunities to expand 'share of wallet' and maximize portfolio yield through optimized product placement.

2.  Estate Planning & Wealth Transition

• Wealth Transition & Succession Planning: Proactively identify gaps in the client’s intergenerational wealth transfer strategy, business succession plans, and insurance coverage.

• Governance & Structuring: Identify needs for complex legal vehicles or family governance frameworks that meet client needs in estate planning and wealth transition; facilitate strategic referrals to a preferred list of external specialists for execution.

• Legacy Planning: Lead high-level discussions with UHNW/HNW families regarding the continuity of family core values and philanthropic visions, integrating these into the broader financial roadmap.

3.  Compliance, Risk Management & Operations

• Ensure all financial plans and suitability assessments strictly adhere to regulations including "Know Your Client" policies.

• Maintain rigorous documentation standards for all advisory outputs, ensuring a clear "audit trail" for suitability and investment recommendations.

• Referral Governance: Ensure all external specialist referrals adhere to the bank’s approved partner protocols and conflict-of-interest policies.

• Monitor regulatory changes and adjust planning frameworks to ensure the bank remains at the forefront of fiduciary best practices.

• Maintain absolute client confidentiality and accurate record-keeping of all planning engagements.

• 4.  People management -      Attract, onboard and retain the right talents for a high-performing team -       Communicate team and individual KRAs/ KPIs, goals, action plan, expectations and results to team members -       Manage team performance & provide feedback regularly (following the annual performance management cycle); -       Enable team member’s professional and personal development through capability assessment, training, coaching & feedback, etc. -       Motivate and recognize team members’ contributions towards the team’s shared goals -       Responsible for developing talents within the team -      Act as a role model and promote corporate culture at sub-function level -       Understand & communicate relevant HR offerings to team members.

• Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences

• 15+ years’ experience in financial planning or wealth advisory, specifically targeting HNW/UHNW segments.

• Commercial Advisory Mastery: Proven track record in identifying and proposing investment solutions that meet client objectives while achieving commercial performance targets, sustainable revenue growth, and AUM goals.

• Wealth Transition Liaison: Proven ability to identify complex estate planning and tax optimization needs and successfully coordinate with external professional service providers.

• Collaboration & Orchestration: Demonstrated success in managing relationships with both internal product specialists and external professional advisors.
