QS Manager

Position Summary

Meraki is looking for a hands-on QS Manager with sound QS fundamentals, strong cost-reporting capability and a practical, team-oriented working style. The role supports the Project Director and Management with accurate cost data, clear analysis and timely recommendations for project decisions and negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review cost plans, estimates, BOQs, quantity take-offs and tender documentation.

• Prepare tender/commercial evaluations and recommendations to support contractor and consultant selection.

• Review payments, variations, claims, final accounts and other QS/commercial submissions.

• Maintain cost reports, forecasts, cash-flow and budget tracking with clear supporting data.

• Provide accurate and timely cost analysis to support Management decision-making and negotiations.

• Support contract administration and follow up outstanding QS/commercial actions.

• Coordinate with PMU, consultants, contractors, Finance, Legal and other relevant teams.

• Remain hands-on in detailed checking and manage multiple projects/tasks as required.

Requirements• Approximately 3-5 years of relevant Quantity Surveying / cost management experience.• Basic working English is required for day-to-day communication and reading project documents, emails and contracts.• Sound QS fundamentals: BOQ, measurement, cost estimating, tender evaluation, payments, variations, cost reporting and contract administration.• Strong Excel and analytical capability; able to explain cost information clearly and accurately.• Good communication and coordination skills; responsive and comfortable working directly with Management.• Team player, open to feedback, adaptable and willing to grow with the company.• Able to multitask and work independently in a fast-moving environment.• Developer/client-side experience is preferred; relevant contractor and consultancy is experience also welcome.
