Job Responsibilities – Purchaser

- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) according to approved purchase requests and production requirements.

- Source and select suitable suppliers based on price, quality, delivery time, and service.

- Request and compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions.

- Follow up with suppliers to ensure materials and components are delivered on time and in the correct quantity.

- Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, QC, Finance, and other departments regarding purchasing requirements.

- Monitor material inventory and arrange purchases to support the production plan and avoid material shortages.

- Coordinate with QC and suppliers to resolve quality issues, defective materials, shortages, or incorrect deliveries.

- Maintain purchasing records, including quotations, POs, contracts, invoices, delivery documents, and supplier information.

- Conduct and maintain supplier evaluation and performance records.

- Update purchasing information and transactions in the ERP system accurately and on time.

- Support cost control and purchasing cost reduction while maintaining required product quality.

- Report purchasing status, material shortages, supplier issues, and other significant procurement risks to management.

- Perform other purchasing-related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Major Requirements: International Buniness, business administration, Economics, Supply chain, Logistic.

Skill Requirements: The Purchaser shall have adequate knowledge and skills in procurement procedures, supplier evaluation, price negotiation, material specifications, purchasing planning, ERP operation, quality requirements, cost control, and coordination with relevant departments. The Purchaser shall be capable of ensuring that purchased materials meet specified quality, quantity, price, and delivery requirements.

Preferred qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Business, Logistics, or a related field; preferably 5-10 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of supplier management, negotiation, ERP systems, inventory control, purchasing documentation, and basic quality requirements is preferred. Good communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required. Proficiency in English is preferred, while Chinese language ability is considered an advantage.
