Marketplace Manager

About Us

We are a US-based e-commerce company selling premium home theater seating and automotive furniture across our own websites and the major marketplaces. Our Amazon and marketplace business generates several million dollars a year and is a core growth priority.

We run a fast-moving team in Ho Chi Minh City, and we are building it out to cover every part of online retail for our US brands.

The Role

This is a Marketplace Manager role, led by Amazon. You will start by owning our Amazon store end to end: the health of every listing, the organic rank of our top SKUs, and the conversion rate of every product page. Then you will build and lead the team that grows our other marketplaces.

This is a performance role, not a maintenance role. We measure you on rank, conversion and revenue, and you will have the data and the authority to move all three.

Phase 1: Hands-on Amazon owner

You do the work yourself. You learn our catalog, fix what is broken, build a testing program, and grow rank and conversion on our top SKUs.

Phase 2: Build and lead the marketplace team

You hire, train and manage a team to expand onto Wayfair, Walmart, eBay and other channels. You stay responsible for the results of every marketplace.

Planned team structure

• High-priority marketplaces and channels: one dedicated person each

• Lower-priority marketplaces: one person covering 1–2 marketplaces at first

What You Will Own

Amazon

• Full management of a multi-million-dollar Amazon store: catalog, listings, store operations and day-to-day account health

• Organic rank strategy across our top revenue SKUs: keyword research, indexing, and defending leading positions

• Product page conversion: continuous improvement of titles, bullet points, A+ content, imagery and pricing presentation

• A structured A/B testing program on titles, bullets, images and content, with logged results and data-driven decisions

• Listing compliance and catalog hygiene across thousands of ASINs

• Daily monitoring of top SKUs, with same-day exception reporting

• Coordination with our paid ads, data, design and customer service teams

Marketplace expansion

• A plan for which marketplaces to launch or grow next (for example Wayfair, Walmart and eBay), based on revenue potential and effort

• Launching and scaling each new marketplace using the playbooks proven on Amazon

• Consistent, accurate product data across every channel

Team building

• Hiring, onboarding and training marketplace specialists

• Writing the playbooks, checklists and processes your team will follow

• Setting goals for each team member and reviewing their results

How We Work

Data first

Every decision should start with data. You will turn sales, traffic, rank and conversion data into clear tests, learn from the results, and keep improving. When a test fails, we want to know why and what you will try next.

AI as part of daily work

We expect you and your team to use AI every day: to build workflows, analyze data, write and test listing content, and make bulk edits across large catalogs. We don't rely on AI blindly. We use it to work faster and produce more, and we keep the expertise to check its output and catch its mistakes. You will set that standard for your team.

Bonus

• Experience managing Wayfair alongside Amazon

• Experience with Walmart, eBay, Overstock or other marketplaces

• Experience hiring and managing a marketplace team

• Experience in furniture, home goods or a comparable considered-purchase category

• Experience building AI workflows or automations, for example for reporting or bulk listing updates
