Software Engineer (C++ / Python) – VSIP II, Binh Duong

1. Software Development (Main Responsibilities)

• Develop and maintain test software using C++ and Python for manufacturing applications.

• Read and implement Matlab algorithms into production-ready software.

• Support software testing during prototype development and deployment into mass production.

• Analyze test logs and production data to identify root causes of issues and recommend corrective actions.

• Optimize software algorithms and testing processes to improve performance and productivity.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot software, hardware, and process-related issues.

• Manage software versions and releases using SVN.

2. Technical and Operational Support

• Provide support for test equipment purchasing and budget applications, including PR/PO procedures and preparation of technical specifications, quotation comparisons, and related documents.

• Assist with ISO audits and other compliance activities, including document preparation and follow-up on corrective actions.

• Coordinate technical discussions with customers and relevant teams, including follow-up on technical issues and action items.

• Support coordination with teams in Vietnam, Japan, and China through technical meetings, emails, and document preparation.

• Assist with the introduction of new test equipment, including installation schedules, software bring-up, and issue tracking.

Working Schedule

• Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM–4:40 PM (every other Saturday off, according to the company schedule).

Working Location & Transportation

• VSIP II Industrial Park, Binh Duong. Shuttle bus service is available from Bien Hoa, Dong Nai, and Ho Chi Minh City. Candidates living in Binh Duong and able to commute independently are preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proficient in C++ and Python.

• Able to read and understand Matlab code.

• Must have working experience in a manufacturing company.

• Knowledge of software testing, data analysis, or measurement systems is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Good English communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical issues and coordinate effectively with relevant teams.
