Principal Customer Quality Engineer

Position Summary

We are looking for a customer-focused and proactive Quality Engineer to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with internal teams and customers to identify issues, drive root-cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the quality focal point for customer-related technical and non-technical issues, including complaints, feedback, qualifications, and management requirements.

• Manage customer quality data, including non-conformance systems, databases, and follow-up actions.

• Lead root-cause analysis and problem solving using structured methods such as 8D, and drive effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and prevent recurrence.

• Monitor customer quality performance and lead improvement activities.

• Support customer audits and training, including quality and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure compliance with customer and applicable regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields.

• 2+ years of experience in a relevant quality/customer quality role.

• Strong English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Six Sigma / Lean Six Sigma.

• Good knowledge ISO quality systems and quality control principles.

• Experience in 8D, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving tools.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.

• Experience with IQC, PQC, OQC, or related quality processes.

• Willingness to travel for customer visits and business trips.

• Proactive, responsible, and results-oriented mindset.
