PHP backend developer

JOB SUMMARY:

Consult the Project Manager and clients on technical topics to ensure optimal application performance, quality, and responsiveness. Design and deliver applications/functions with well-structured, properly formatted code that complies with company standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Consult the Project Manager and clients on technical topics to ensure optimal application performance, quality, and responsiveness.

• Design and deliver applications/functions with well-structured, properly formatted code that complies with company standards.

• Troubleshoot obstacles and resolve bugs to ensure seamless final deliverables.

• Provide regular reports upon request and build comprehensive installation guidelines.

• Propose and execute initiatives to grow the technical team and exceed client expectations.

• Collaborate effectively with a global project team across the UK, Singapore, Japan, and Vietnam.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience with PHP and at least 2 years with Laravel.

• Architecture & System Design: Extensive experience designing architecture for large-scale, complex systems. Deep understanding of software design patterns, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, event sourcing, and CQRS.

• Infrastructure & Databases: Hands-on experience with messaging platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Strong database design skills encompassing relational (SQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra) databases.

• AI Knowledge (Must-have): Solid understanding of AI technologies, including Generative AI/LLMs, and the ability to practically apply AI in system development and design.

• DevOps & Testing: Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, CircleCI) and E2E testing (Detox, NightWatch).

• Soft Skills & Equipment: Intermediate English proficiency, strong independent research, and problem-solving skills. Must use a personal laptop.

• (Nice-have): Experience with Python, ReactJS, and hands-on practical experience in AI-related projects.
