Electrical Manager (Based in Philippines)

Key duties and responsibilities:
1. PV Solar & BESS Engineering
Carry out the design for PV Solar and BESS systems, particularly for utility-scale solar projects, including equipment selection, single line diagrams, and power distribution design.
Review engineering deliverables prepared by Engineering consultant for PV solar and BESS
Perform PVsyst simulation and reporting, detailed loss evaluation, LCOE studies, PV layout development, guaranteed PR determination, and PR test procedures and calculations.
Lead PG/PR improvement work and technical troubleshooting for operating solar assets.
2. Substation Design
Review detailed design for substations (primary equipment, secondary equipment, SCADA, telecommunications) and connecting transmission lines prepared by Engineering consultant.
3. Project Delivery & Site Support
Support project development from investment preparation (site survey, route options, connection planning) through Pre-FS/FS and detailed design implementation.
Prepare vendor inquiry documents and technical bid evaluations
Review vendor design
Educational background: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.Skills and Competency:Vietnamese national with at least 7 years of experience in electrical design g for utility-scale solar, BESS and/or Wind project, Working experience for oversea projectsProven project tracking record is requiredProficiency in PVsyst simulation software, together with AutoCAD, ETAP, and other relevant design/analysis tools.Understanding and using international code and standards for renewable projectPractical experience across the full project cycle: investment preparation, detailed design, tendering, construction support, and commissioning of substations.A professional engineering certificate/license level 1 is an advantage.Strong coordination and communication skills in Vietnamese and English; willing to be based in Manila, Philippines.
