• This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer-focused banquet services to guests, in compliance with all brand standards and departmental Standard Operating Procedures.• Respond professionally, politely, and efficiently to extraordinary requests and complaints from guests.ResponsibilitiesBanquet Operations• Organize and transport all supplies required for the set-up of a function• Assist in the set up and break down function rooms according to standard operating procedures• Prepare and ensure mise-en-place is complete• Deliver F&B/banquet services in accordance to departmental standards and procedures• Ensure that all service and storage areas are kept safe, clean and locked• Report any complaints, incidents or any other irregularities to management• Perform functions of cashiering and dispensing of beverages as assignedOther Responsibilities• Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures• Attend all meetings and trainings as assigned by management• Apply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)• Assist Food & Beverage Outlets in their operations within peak times when needed• Maintain complete knowledge of all F&B services, outlets and hotel services/features• Perform other duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel• Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships
Knowledge and Experience• University / College/ vocational education• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language• Basic knowledge and skill in F&B service is required• Experience is preferable• Training will be providedCompetencies• Good communication and customer contact skills• Service oriented with an eye for details• Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team• Self-motivated and energetic• Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
